WHO WE ARE:
DALHOFF THOMAS design studio (DT) is an award-winning Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Parks + Recreation firm that is committed to quality work and creative process. We pride ourselves in our reputation for professionalism, collaboration, innovation, and attention to detail. Our team is comprised of a small but powerful group of Planners and Landscape Architects with various backgrounds and areas of expertise. Most of our work spans across the South and Southeast United States, with a focus on our community of Memphis and the Mid-South.
WHO WE SEEK:
We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Designer (0-3 years experience) and a Mid-Level Landscape Designer (2-5 years experience) for our Memphis, Tennessee office. As a part of the DT team, you will:
Provide creative ideas and input on Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Parks + Recreation projects.
Work as part of our team in all aspects of a project including programming, master planning, conceptual development, site design, cost estimating, public engagement, construction documents, and construction administration.
Create graphic imaging, 3D modeling, submittal documents, booklets, construction documents, renderings, sections, and elevation drawings.
Communicate and work with team members, clients, municipal officials, and other design professionals.
Utilize office programs and standards to elevate our team’s efficiency, organization, and quality of work.
The ideal Entry-Level candidate will have:
Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture
0-2 years professional experience in an Urban Planning or Landscape Architectural office environment, internship experience highly desired for recent grads
Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D rendering software (i.e. SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, etc.), experience with Land F/X a plus
Excellent organization, collaboration, and time management skills
Strong graphical, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and team-driven attitude
Desire to pursue Landscape Architect licensure a plus
