DESCRIPTION - Cornerstone Park was designed by DT design studio members as a state-of-the-art youth baseball/softball complex integrated into a public recreational park. Currently located on the site of an old industrial park, this park was designed as an economic driver for the city of Starkville. A total of fifteen fields of various sizes were designed with synthetic infields to accommodate a variety of user groups. An indoor practice facility, multi-purpose pavilion, public spray park and memorial plaza are several key features that make Cornerstone Park a versatile and unique destination for those in the surrounding region.
